Attending the Annual HBIC Forum to Share Exciting Updates on Nature in Harmony Project
On Saturday, 22nd February, Katie (Ecology Intern for 2024) and Abbey (Nature and Community Officer) attended the annual Hampshire Biodiversity Information Centre (HBIC) Forum at Littleton Millennium Memorial Hall. The event was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the many innovative projects and ideas shaping conservation efforts across Hampshire.
One of the highlights of the forum was having the honour of a spot on the programme for Katie, to present an update on our Nature in Harmony project. Katie delivered a fantastic presentation, offering attendees an insightful overview of the research, methods, and key findings from this year's survey. Her presentation was well received, demonstrating the importance of the project in promoting biodiversity and ecological harmony.
The HBIC Forum provided a valuable platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and fostering collaborations among individuals and organisations dedicated to protecting Hampshire's natural environment. The discussions and presentations throughout the day showcased the incredible dedication and innovation within the conservation community.
We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an inspiring event and look forward to continuing our work in biodiversity research and conservation. A huge well done to Katie for her excellent presentation and for representing the Nature in Harmony project so well!
