HOW TO GET TO HARMONY WOODS (DIAMOND WOOD)

🚗Driving:

There is a car park at East Anton Sports Pavilion, at the end of Pavilion Road in Augusta Park. Head to the Sports Pavilion car park entrance:

Walking from the Pavilion Car Park to the Cabin in Harmony Woods just takes few minutes.

1. Enter through the wooden gate inside the Pavilion grounds.

2. Continue along the path for ~100m to the metal field gate.

3. Go through the gate to enter Harmony Woods.

4. Look for a wooden cabin on your left.

5. Follow the gravel track past the cabin into the heart of the woodland.

Alternatively, there are parking spaces adjacent to the black and white cottage in Enham Alamein, or behind the Village Stores (where you can also enjoy a great cuppa and slice of cake!) Please do not park around The Green. Walk up Anton Lane, past the last houses on the left and the fingerpost footpath sign, until you see steps cut into the bank on the left. These will take you to the north-west corner of Harmony Woods.

🚌Public Transport:

Option A – Bus 2 or Bus 1

• Board at: Andover Bus Station

• Alight at: Pavilion Road stop for No. 2 or Roman Way Primary School stop for No. 1

• Walk: No. 2: walk up Pavilion Road and into the grounds and follow directions above (~5–7 min). No. 1: walk up Viking Way to East Anton Farm Road, then turn left onto Pavilion Road and into the grounds and follow directions above (~11 min).

Option B – Bus 7 (Stagecoach South)

Route: Andover → Enham Alamein / Newbury

• Board at: Andover Bus Station

• Alight at: Enham Alamein (The Green or Kings Road stop)

• Walk (~10 min):

  • Head south along Newbury Road

    Turn left onto the woodland path into Harmony Woods

🚶Walking:

Walking from Andover Town Centre (via East Anton Sports Pavilion)

Estimated time: ~35–45 minutes / ~2.2 miles (3.5 km)

1. Start at Andover High Street / Town Centre.

2. Head east along Eastern Avenue or Charlton Road, then:

3. Turn left onto New Street, continue past Tesco.

4. At Enham Arch Roundabout, take the underpass or footpath to join the A343 (Newbury Road) heading north.

5. Walk along Newbury Road past the College and Tesco Extra, crossing side roads as needed.

6. At the roundabout just after Enham Arch, continue straight ahead on A343.

7. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Roman Way.

8. Continue along Roman Way → Viking Way (straight over the mini roundabout).

9. At Augusta Park entrance roundabout, take the exit for East Anton Farm Road.

10. When East Anton Farm Road bends right, turn left onto Pavilion Road.

11. Walk to the end of Pavilion Road to reach East Anton Sports Pavilion.

12. From there, follow the directions below to enter Harmony Woods.
