MONDAY VOLUNTEER CONSERVATION DAYS
Every Monday, whether at Harmony Woods or the Vigo Road allotment, our volunteer days bring together teamwork, laughter, and care for nature. From tree care to fence maintenance, volunteers take on a wide range of seasonal tasks. Last month, this included preparing for tree planting weeks, supporting the children as they planted their trees, planting out wildflowers in harmony woods and cabin maintenance, among other tasks.

This November, we enjoyed our final Nature Nurture sessions with Andover Young Carers, a wonderful conclusion to this year’s programme. Over four sessions, primary and secondary-age young carers made colourful natural inks. With these inks, they illustrated their initials and created expressive, tree-themed artwork
A huge thank you to our brilliant organisers Hebe and Liz, Andover Young Carers, and to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation for funding the project!

NOVEMBER'S COMMUNITY CONSERVATION DAY
This month’s Conservation Day at Harmony Woods was a great success!
We replaced several young trees that hadn’t survived the past season and planted more wildflowers along the Broad Walk. We also loaded up the Land Rover with tools and equipment, ready for next week’s tree-planting session at Bury Hill Meadows.
A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us! Learn more about our conservation days here: https://www.andovertrees.org.uk/blog-list/diggingit2

LANDSCAPING AT THE BACK OF THE CABIN
Thank you to Brian, Harry, Martin, Sam, Simone, Annette and Eleanor for their help on the 15th November for a day of cabin landscaping.
The final stage of transforming the cabin grounds into usable space for everyone is now complete! Our team has transformed the area behind the cabin in Harmony Woods, creating a brand-new patio space for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to Jewson, who provided a generous discount which allowed us to source all the supplies needed for the patio area.
We are so excited for this new area!
