Taking a Lead on Outdoor Learning

In April, we were delighted to appoint Becky McGugan as our schools and community Outdoor Learning leader. During this year-long pilot project, Becky will take responsibility for supporting schools to try out opportunities that being an Andover Trees United partner school can offer. Since starting her work with us, Becky has introduced herself to the core group of schools who are working with us on the Six Trees & Six Flowers project and has planned and led seasonal woodland activity days for five of the six schools on the Trinley Estate.

During the school summer holidays, Becky will also be trialling a programme of nature-based activities for families, children and teens.
